April Beckwith Brown Samuels DDS

Dr. April Samuels, a native of Carson, California and graduate of South Gate High School, has established her professional practice in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex with a focused commitment to serving underserved communities.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Louisiana State University while concurrently completing the rigorous science curriculum required for dental school admission. Pursuing her academic and professional goals further, Dr. Samuels obtained a Master of Science in Oral Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles. During her time at UCLA, she was mentored by Dr. Bruce Sanders, then Dean of Admissions at the UCLA School of Dentistry, whose guidance was instrumental in her successful acceptance to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry — one of the nation’s leading dental programs.

Following the completion of her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, Dr. Samuels developed a strong professional interest in pediatric dentistry. She enhanced her clinical expertise by completing a pediatric mini-residency at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where she gained specialized training in the comprehensive care of children and adolescents.

Today, Dr. Samuels is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate dental care to children and young adults across the Dallas–Fort Worth area, with a special emphasis on reaching medically underserved populations. Her mission is to create a safe, welcoming, and equitable environment where all patients can receive the care they need to achieve optimal oral health.
